Currently, our juice cleanses are made to order as many of the items, specialty juice flavours and plant-based mylks, are made specifically for the cleanses.

To be able to have these items ready, we require 48 hours notice prior to the date of interest for starting your juice cleanse.

Why do a Juice Cleanse?

Juice cleanses provide an opportunity for the body to reset by giving it a break from solid foods, while providing a more concentrated, nutrient-dense juice, that facilitates a less vigorous digestive process, reserving energy for the detoxification and regeneration process.

How to prepare for your cleanse…

Up to one week prior to cleansing start reducing your intake of:

  • caffeine
  • alcohol
  • sugar
  • inflammatory foods (dairy/wheat/gluten/meat)
  • processed foods

If any of these items are in large quantities in your diet, ease off them slowly over the course of the week so that you have eliminated consumption at least 48 hours prior to beginning your juice cleanse.

If these items are not in large quantities in your diet, this elimination process can be over a 2-3-day period.

24 - 48 hours prior to the juice cleanse:

  • Increase water consumption, ideally 3L daily minimum.
  • Raw fruits and vegetables only.
    • To prepare your digestive system to move away from solid foods, we recommend consuming raw fruits and vegetables for 24 - 48 hours before beginning your 3-day cleanse.

 *Do not go cold-turkey or you will experience mild to severe detox symptoms*

 The total preparation period can be as little as 3 days or up to 9 days. This is entirely up to you and what you think will set your body up for a successful cleanse.

Additional information

After cleansing you will need to slowly start adding solid foods back into your diet, to not shock your digestive system. We recommend starting with fresh fruit and smoothies, dark leafy green salads, vegetable broth-based soups, raw or steamed vegetables, and nuts and seeds. We will provide a post-cleanse overview with your cleanse as well for reference.

 We want to make sure that everyone who does a cleanse with us gains the most benefits out of their cleanse, which is why we believe the pre and post cleanse plan is necessary.

Tips for a happy cleanse experience

  • Drinking juices on an empty stomach helps to maximize absorption and benefits.
  • Stay hydrated, aim for 2L of water daily.
  • Drink hot water and lemon first thing in the morning for extra detoxification and digestion.
